ABOUT THE EVENT:

Rose Garden Events presents its annual 2 day single Christian retreat and Black Tie dinner. Set in glorious Bedfordshire countryside away from the hustle and bustle of city pressure.
 
The two day retreat will commence with a drinks reception in well manicured Rose Garden grounds, followed by a relaxing icebreaker before a delectable three course dinner, optional wine, and live entertainment on day 1. After your stay in a premium hotel, day 2 is equally as elegant, with lunch provided but it has a more casual feel, allowing connection, mingling and fun discussion of biblically based relationship HOT topics in a relaxed manner. The second day ends with each guest receiving a Rose Garden Events package which includes a free copy of Pastor John Pipers relationship book, before a complimentary private shuttle whisks you back to your hotel.

TRANSPORT

By Car: 17 minutes from junction 13/14 of the M1 (40 minutes from London)

By Train: 10 minutes from Bedford central station or 20 minutes from Milton Keynes central station with direct links to Birmingham or London.

THE CHALLENGE OF DATING:
Our network of single Christian friends have told us there are two main challenges to modern dating.
 
1. The struggle to find focussed meaningful time to meet other singles.
 
2. Difficulties with online dating lacking that basic opportunity for face to face interaction.
 
SOLUTION:
Our Rose Garden Events team have tried to help by ‘bringing back the personal touch’. Keep it simple, great food, stunning environment, good company but most importantly a good dose of faith and hopefully God’s grace to facilitate a warm friendly environment to meet like minded singles.
 
The lack of meaningful time is remedied by hosting the retreat over two days in beautiful Bedfordshire countryside (40 minutes from London).
 
To resolve the lack of face to face interaction we have created a fusion of sophisticated formal meeting during the Black Tie dinner on day 1, with relaxed relationship discussions and mingling in idyllic countryside on day 2. This calming environment provides everyone with the opportunity to form friendships or in the future possibly something more.
 
We also realise that for meaningful interaction the numbers should be intimate so despite the high demand for tickets we have purposely capped the numbers of singles. We also , where possible, try to facilitate equal male and female ratios.

What my retreat ticket includes:

A two day retreat in a breathtaking rural location, incredible live pianist on day 1, complimentary return private shuttle to the hotel on both days. Overnight stay at a premium hotel which includes a full English or continental breakfast and Rose Garden lunch on day 2. Also all guests receive Pastor John Pipers acclaimed relationship book as part of the Rose Garden Events gift to take home.

SUGGESTION FOR THE BIG DAY:
 
Not quite that day…yet. This advice is in relation to the retreat, we suggest you drive to the hotel where a complimentary private minibus will leave promptly to bring you to the Rose Garden venue and also return you to the hotel on day 1. On day 2 the same shuttle will again leave promptly from the hotel to Rose Garden and subsequently bring you back to the hotel. This is a complimentary service that we provide to ensure a hassle free experience.
 
This complete package is set in glorious countryside to ensure you get the best chance to connect, pray, and enjoy !
 
OVERVIEW OF DAY 1 and DAY 2:
 
Day 1 is laced with charm and sophisticated attire, an opportunity to dress up and enjoy formal elegance. Sumptuous food with a talented live musician playing throughout the night, only breaking for our engaging ice breaker which provides everybody the chance to get to know a little bit about each other.
 
Day 2 is more relaxed with casual attire and popular relationship HOT topics to discuss in a relaxed fun fashion. Lunch is provided and plenty of breaks to chat, mingle & connect.
HOW DO I BOOK THIS FANTASTIC RETREAT?
1. Pack your suitcase with your stunning formal and casual clothes!
 
2. Phone via www.RGE.vision or email info@rge.vision so we can take basic details (name, email and gender). This ensures we can try to have equal gender ratios. We also provide a guest list to the hotel.
 
3. Once we confirm with you that there are tickets remaining (via info@rge.vision or telephone), simply visit www.RGE.vision which will direct you back to this Eventbrite page, scroll down and purchase your ticket.
4. When you have purchased your ticket please phone or email info@rge.vision and tell us your dietary requirements and your Black Tie food choices.
 
5. On day 1 you arrive at the hotel and a private shuttle minibus will be present at 5.30pm ready to leave promptly at 5.45pm. Arriving at Rose Garden grounds at 6pm. The same shuttle will take you back to the hotel in the late evening. Just a gentle reminder please be on time as our drivers are on a strict schedule, thank you. Day 2, the shuttle will arrive at the hotel at 9.30am to leave at 9.45am, ready for a 10am start and as expected will whisk you back to your hotel in the afternoon. This is also a complimentary shuttle courtesy of Rose Garden, which as before, leaves incredibly promptly. Travelling in the shuttle together provides further opportunities to spark conversations and a chance to get to know other singles a little better.
